Posted on Tuesday, 9 March 2010

The Number 1 thrill ride on Sentosa Island now has two thrilling tracks!

Sentosa Luge and Skyride opened a second track at Sentosa’s Imbiah Lookout on the 9th March 2010. Dubbed the Dragon Trail, this new track is designed with themed landscaping and night lighting to provide a mystical backdrop to the ride.

Built at a cost of $2 million, the second track boasts an elevated course, which builds up excitement with its tighter corners and numerous turns. Together with the original track, the Luge now offers riders a total of over 1050 metres of thrilling, downhill fun.

General Manager Lyndon Thomas says, “The popularity of our rides has grown tremendously over the years and we launched a Luge License programme so that our local Luge regulars can enjoy discounts and fast queue options. Many of them are looking forward to the new track which will be an instant hit with first time riders as well. Now, everyone will have twice the fun on both trails because once is never enough!”
