Celebrating the Luge opening on Canada Day Weekend
Skyline Luge opened the long awaited Calgary attraction on Saturday 29th June, much to the delight of many Canadians in town for the long Canada Day weekend!
Located at Canada Olympic Park (COP) the Calgary Luge is open from 10am - 6pm daily and is a fun family friendly activity for all ages. Take the chairlift to the start zone of the Luge track and then ride the Luge cart over 1.8km down the purpose built Luge course.
Originating in New Zealand, the Skyline Luge is not new to Canada. Celebrating its 10th birthday this year is the Skyline Luge Mont Tremblant, a significant milestone for the first Canadian Luge attraction.
The Calgary Luge claim to fame is that it's the 'longest Luge track in the world' and boasts over 50 twists and turns as it decends more than 100 metres.
Our fantastic new Calgary Luge crew are very excited to welcome you this summer to try out our thrilling adventure ride - Once is never Enough!
