Another great season in Mt Tremblant

Posted on Saturday, 8 October 2016

Well we’ve reached the end to yet another amazing season here in Mont Tremblant!

The summer has gone by so quickly. It feels like one minute we were clearing the snow off our track in preparation for the season open, and the next we saw fall arrive and it was soon time to pack up again.

We had customers from all over the world join us for a day on the mountain, riding the chairlift to the top before navigating 24 twists and turns down our 1.4km track! It was such a great pleasure meeting you all.

We’ve hit some impressive milestones over the summer – seeing more customers than ever join us for a thrilling adventure down the Luge!

Our team here at Skyline Luge Mont Tremblant definitely make coming to work a whole lot more fun and it’s so great to see them return each year after their winter adventures. Here are some of the wonderful service achievements we have celebrated this year:

  • Mike Gagnon completed his 14th season with us!
  • Tim Dawson (5 years)
  • Sonia Belanger-Ireland (2 years)
  • Anika Swani (2 years)
  • Olivier Gaube (2 years)
  • Alexis Langlois (2 years)
  • Jonathan Belec (2 years)
  • Valerie Dewald (2 years)
  • Frederik Patte (2 years)

We can’t sign off the 2016 season without a special mention to the Skyline Luge Mont Tremblant team who showed off some killer moves in the Running Man Challenge! Check out the video Anika Sawni put together below.

Once the fall had arrived, the trees began transforming from green to autumn golds making for an extra stunning Luge ride down the mountain.

Our thoughts now turn to the winter, where more adventures are to be had – from skiing, to dog sledding, ice climbing and much more in this idyllic alpine region.

We want to extend a huge thank you to our Skyline Luge family for another epic season. To our staff, partners and of course our incredible guests – you’ve made the 2016 season one to remember!

We can’t wait to see you in May for another exciting season ahead!
